If you can tear yourself away from the beach platforms with direct access into the clear turquoise sea, Kalkan has its own pretty pebble beach down by the harbour and there are other superb beaches near by. You can also take a ‘Gullet' trip on a traditional Turkish boat from the harbour. This is a wonderful day when staff cater for your every need and you can spend the hours snorkelling in the clear waters around the local bays, lunch and afternoon tea are also provided to make this a very relaxing experience.

In addition to this Kalkan also holds a market every Thursday when all the locals from the surrounding areas come to sell their produce from fruit and veg to Turkish carpets. This is an experience not to be missed!
