“We had a wonderful time in Pataras it exceeded our expectations vastly!!!! What a beautiful place Kalkan is and the resort was second to none - thank you for sharing your place with us - how lucky you are!!!!!!!!!

The apartment was great although I must admit we were hardly in - if only to shower change and sleep - we ate out all but one evening!!!

The transfers were perfect - this has been the most relaxing - hitch-less holiday we have ever had!!!!!!”

“Had a lovely restful holiday in beautiful surroundings. Had some excellent meals, views spectacular. Highly recommend Adams, he and his family made us very welcome. Patara Prince very friendly. Certainly hope to return to take advantage of some of the trips, which unfortunately only commenced just before we left. Thanks for lovely restful days in your apartment.”

“It was still off season when we arrived so much of the offers & delights were out of the question due to being closed. However these will be sought after on our return. Yes we will return. The apartment is ideal, well placed and good views across the bay. Weather a bit hit & miss but that wasn't a deterrent, we hired a car from ‘ Paradise ' in Kalkan (£20), very helpful. Everybody has been so pleasant he helpful for our first time in Turkey & Kalkan, even had quite a few good laughs with some of the locals. A thoroughly heart warming experience and one to be repeated. I'd be careful who I recommended it to though – need to keep a booking space available for our return trip. Until next time. …”

Another lovely lazy week in this gorgeous apartment in beautiful Kalkan. Again didn't do very much except sit by pool reading and sunbathing. We did take to walking into Kalkan each evening as it's a lovely half hour stroll along the top. Ate some fine Turkish food and particularly enjoyed Adana Kelsap at Gati restaurant
Gelecek yil gorusuruz Kalkan”

“This is our first visit to Turkey . Don't know why we have waited so long! Kalkan is beautiful. The Turkish people are so friendly. We've had a really lazy week spending most of our time on platforms ‘heaven' Reading , sleeping and of course indulging in the odd beer or two. Haven't had a bad meal since we arrived. Favourites are Gironda, Olive Garden - fillet steak is tremendous. The apartment has a lovely spectacular view and quite perfect for a restful holiday. Can't wait to return. ‘Kalkan is a gem of place, something to keep quiet about'

“Thank you both for allowing us to enjoy your fabulous apartment. We have spent a lazy week around hotel pools. Visited Patara Beach and the ruins. Found Kalkan a fascinating place. At times the weather has been very hot, but must face the monsoons of Manchester – ugh!”

“One week is not long enough to explore this beautiful part of the world. We spent most of our days lounging around the top pool. The weather was very hot and there was a nice breeze at the pool. We visited Patara Beach and surroundings are stunning. We also went on a boat trip organised by the restaurant next to the pool. We went for a mud bath and enjoyed a lovely barbecue and a few Reikis. Kalkan village is very atmospheric and we ate some fine food. We would definitely consider coming again as the Turkish people are very welcoming”

"A wonderful place to stay. My lasting memory will be my husband saying on our first morning here "Get up and look at this view, it is wonderful". We've really enjoyed our stay here. Having visited many places and eaten excellent food we feel refreshed & rested, ready to return to the U.K. The people are friendly & welcoming and the scenery is stunning."

"We have had a lovely two weeks here & visited some wonderful places - Sunken City, Tlos, Saklikent gorge. The people in Kalkan are so welcoming & friendly and are wonderful with the children. We particularly enjoyed the top pool here as it was never busy. Great first thing in the morning. We did a superb boat trip on the Hazal boat (see their poster outside the Ilban (opposite the PTT). The food on the boat is exceptional and they really do look after you and it wasn't expensive. Did other trips with Abi Tours and Club Lycia – both very good. My son recommends the Phantom Wing as the best water sport followed by the Ringos. Anyway, I'm sure whoever stays next will find their own particular favourites – there is so much to do, and so many lovely places to eat but enjoy it, we certainly have."

"Had a lovely lazy week in Kalkan. I've been coming to Turkey for about 15 years so didn't feel too guilty about not venturing out much to explore. I found everything I wanted right here! I preferred the buffets as the service tended to be a bit hit and miss. The Sicilian buffet was particularly good, so much I went twice! I loved all 3 pools and there was always a free sunbed. Everyone was very friendly and I didn't feel the least bit intimidated being a woman on my own. I loved the apartment and everything in it and can't wait to come back again."

"We have had a wonderfuly lazy week. The apartment is great, we have been very comfortable and feel quite privileged to have been able to stay here. The people have been so kind, helpful, courteous and we have met some really good companions. Best restaurants in our opinion were The Olive Garden, Ozalp, Tomato. Tomato was a bit hit & miss – one good meal – one poor one. Best boat trip is Hazel – food superb we had two excellent days out touring around the bay. We can't wait to come back to Kalkan. Could go on forever, but one of the best holidays we have ever had."

"Well what can we say, we have had a lovely week, when we have been able to tear ourselves away from the peaceful balcony with the amazing views we have made it down to the beach platforms. These are great as they are private and some give you direct access into the sea which was lovely. We have been coming to Turkey for about 6 years and have found the apartment and Kalkan to be just perfect, having everything on our doorstep, the views, the good restaurants and Kalkan oozing with Turkish charm. It has been brilliant. We particularly enjoyed eating in Kosk, Gironda, Ozcup. We hired a car through Paradise in Kalkan which was very easy. Everywhere you visit I'm sure would be stunning here, however our personal favourites have included Islamar, Saklikent Gorge Patara Beach and ruins and Kapatus Beach . If you want to go further afield try visiting Kayakay near Fetihye for journey back into history. Amazing place. Thanks for a wonderful week in a gorgeous apartment in such a beautiful setting. We will be back next year."

"We can only echo the words of previous guests in praising this apartment, Patara Prince and Kalkan. We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay. Kalkan is a great centre for exploring places like Patara, Saklikent, Kas and Kekova. We have had two days at sea with Captain Serif and his wife who is a great cook, the best lunch on a boat trip ever! We have tried the recommended restaurants and particularly enjoyed Osalp especially the lamb. We have had a few days of spectacular thunder and lightening but that's not unusual this late in the season, just unlucky. I'm sure the sun will shine tomorrow. Will be back here one day."

"We have had a great time here. Even though it's the end of October, the weather has been great. Both the apartment and the resort is gorgeous. The views are beautiful and everywhere you go. The town Kalkan is really nice, the food is lovely we ate at Tomato, Aubergine (not that overpriced really compared to home) and a gorgeous pied place away from the main centre up towards the market. We went on a boat trip swimming in a cave and had a mud bath. I would also recommend any of the designer bag shops for bargain hunters!."
